Compensation for Surrogates

Cherish Fertility is a highly selective surrogate agency. Out of the large amount of applications we receive, we accept only about 1% of applicants. And due our selectiveness, we are able to offer one of the highest compensation package in the industry. And a surrogate mother can rest assured that we will take care her needs when they arise.

How are surrogates compensated?

Surrogates are paid a base fee, plus additional compensations. The table below lists an example of additional compensations that a surrogate usually receive. We will go over your personalized compensation package in details with you. As a first time surrogate, you may have a compensation package of up to $62,500. As an experienced surrogate, you may be offered a compensation package of up to $82,500. Please contact us for more details!

Frequently Asked Questions About Compensation

The total compensation is determined by your base pay plus additional compensations. In general, first time surrogates get paid up to $62,500, with singleton birth and no complications. Experienced surrogates get paid up to $82,500 with singleton birth and no complications. Multiple births, physical bed rest orders, additional screenings and medical complications can add to your compensation package.

No, you do not need to wait till you get pregnant to start receiving payment. You will receive a signing bonus and the following incentives prior to your confirmation of pregnancy:

Signing bonus: $300 (after you are legally cleared for surrogacy)
Medication start incentive: $500 - $1,000 (determined by your cycles)
Embryo transfer incentive: $1,500 (per transfer even if the transfer does not result in pregnancy

We understand that every pregnancy is different. Perhaps you still have maternity clothing from your previous pregnancy. But we want you to feel comfortable during every pregnancy and have the right clothes that fit you at every stage of pregnancy. Therefore, you will be compensated an additional $1,000 to purchase new maternity clothing. Though you will have to do the clothes purchasing yourself to suit your style and taste.
